Childhood Academic Life
My educational journey has been shaped by two institutions that left deep impressions on who I am today. I spent most of my school years at Jamalpur Zilla School (JZS) and later moved to Govt. Ashek Mahmud College (AMC) for HSC. These years were not just about textbooks and exams. They were about discovering what I was capable of, learning how to compete, and finding joy in things beyond the classroom.
My academic achievements were recognized through Government Board Scholarships in the PSC (2010) and JSC (2013) exams. In PSC, I was placed in the Talent Pool category by the Dhaka Education Board, which came with full free studentship and a monthly stipend of 300 BDT for three years. The JSC scholarship from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, followed with full free studentship and a monthly stipend of 200 BDT for two years. I went on to achieve GPA 5.00 in both SSC (2016) and HSC (2018).
During my school years, I also had a quieter passion in music. I performed and won awards in Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Sangeet, and patriotic songs at various competitions and stages. On the sports side, I won the Badminton Championship in Class 3, and later finished Runner-up in Chess at the Intramural Sports Competition at JZS in 2015.
College brought a different kind of competition. In 2017, I ranked 11th in the Mymensingh Regional round of the National High School Programming Contest, my earliest step into competitive programming. That same year, I won the Regional Championship in The HSBC Prothom Alo Language Competition organized by HSBC and Prothom Alo Bangladesh.
Looking back, the years at JZS and AMC gave me far more than grades. They gave me curiosity, resilience, and a sense of who I wanted to become.
